Connect Who or what inspires you to cook?

Cooking has inspired me since I was a kid. There’s something special about seeing people enjoy what you put in front of them—their smiles, the satisfaction of a good meal. Food brings everyone together, and that feeling of making others happy through something so universal is what drives me. We all love good food and the comfort of feeling full, and that’s what keeps me passionate about cooking.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

It’s tough to choose just one! Growing up in the U.S. but being born in the Balkans, I’ve always been open to all kinds of food. But a good stuffed chicken with a rich mushroom sauce, paired with flavorful rice and a fresh salad, is always a go-to for me. It’s comforting, hearty, and always hits the spot.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use the $25K to kick-start my food truck and take my business to the next level. It would help cover key startup costs and set the foundation for something even bigger. Right now, I’m not working since I got laid off, so I’m going all in on food service full time. This would give me the boost I need to make it happen and grow from there.
