My journey as a chef is deeply rooted in my heritage and family. My grandmother was my first culinary mentor, teaching me that food is more than just sustenance—it’s a way to bring people together and preserve tradition. Growing up, I was inspired by the bold, vibrant flavors of Jamaica, where food is a celebration of culture, history, and community. That foundation fueled my passion and commitment to creating dishes that honor my roots while innovating for modern tastes.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I don’t have just one all-time favorite dish because, for me, cooking is about the journey—the creativity, the learning, and the constant evolution of flavors. I love experimenting with new ingredients, reimagining traditional recipes, and creating dishes that tell a story. Every meal I make is an opportunity to explore and push boundaries, which is what keeps my passion alive in the kitchen.
