Receive Text UpdatesMy first clear realization of my passion for food came from my mom. She would always have me up on the counter teaching me how to cook. Her guidance stuck with me as I went on to cook for a variety of careers! I ran my own daycare for military families in Lemoore California back in the day. I went on to a career feeding the amazing college students here at OSU and I’m still enjoying every moment even today, 12 years later!
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My favorite dish to make is Pollo Ala Crèma! My daughter Julie always gets just so excited when I cook this, and she knows every step to make this dish.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use this cash to buy a food truck and begin advertising myself. I hope to one day open my own restaurant/diner and being the next favorite chef is my next big step towards this! Being featured on taste of home magazine could get my name and my food out there to tempt new customers to eat at my restaurant.
