Receive Text UpdatesThe seasons, the weather and what foods are in season. I grew up cooking with my Dad too. My First Chef mentor Chef Kurt Fleisfresser in Oklahoma (he was honored at the James Beard house and I got to go and help with the dinner!) is what always inspires me reflecting on the time with all the Chefs I have worked with. I am also so inspired and fulfilled by working in Senior Living. It is an amazing feeling to see my residents at The Oscar at Georgetown smile when they get meals we prepare.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I love burgers!! So that’s a go to dish for me. I do love to explore regional ethnic foods and flavors and be surprised. I love ramen in all its forms!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would throw an amazing get together for all the chefs, and staff that have made my career what it is today! Then I would look way way into the future to do something small like a food truck or very small diner to have for when I get out of the biz!! Oh ya take a long vacation with my beautiful wife to Italy!!!
