Who or what inspires you to cook?

I’m inspired by the warmth and connection that food creates. Cooking reminds me of family gatherings, my grandmother mostly, cherished traditions, and the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones. I love experimenting with flavors, drawing inspiration from my family recipes, cultural influences, and seasonal ingredients. It’s not just about the food—it’s about the memories and emotions tied to it.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I love making traditional Cuban food, pork, congri, and I also enjoy making fish dishes.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it in my new business, and most definitely in continuing the growth so we can expand our restaurant.
