Receive Text UpdatesThe person who inspires me to cook is my late Yia-Yia (grandmother). She not only taught me how to cook, but also showed me how food can bring people together. When we were in the kitchen, it’s like all the troubles in the world would disappear, even just for a moment as we poured joy and love into every morsel.
What's your all time favorite dish to make? With so many cultural and culinary influences, it’s hard to select my all-time favorite dish to make. Food is my love language, so I would pick my husband‘s most requested dish - my Korean fried chicken wings with Korean cucumber salad. There’s something about the crunch paired with the spicy, sweet, sour gochujang-based sauce that is the ultimate comfort food in our household.
What would you do with the $25,000?Although I would love to book a Mediterranean cruise, we have a more practical want for the $25K - to buy our first home, complete with our dream indoor and outdoor kitchens! We have different “styles” in the kitchen, but my favorite part of the day is making dinner with my husband. Sometimes it’s a repeat favorite, sometimes it’s a new recipe, but always my most cherished time together.
