Receive Text UpdatesI am always looking to be creative when cooking and inspired by what is in season. I also love being inspired by people, what food they love, and making it for them. I think I found that love when I would cook with my grandma. She always made food for everyone—nourishing them, celebrating friends and family, and always making something new she was inspired by. Being in the kitchen with her encouraged me pursue cooking professionally and enrolled in the CIA for Baking & Pastry.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I am obsessed with pizza. Pizza is so amazing. Working to get the perfect crust, which can take several days—using the right flour, resting the dough, shaping the pizza, and baking. The perfect tomato sauce comes from the best tomatoes. I love growing my own ingredients, knowing it’s going to make the best pizza anywhere. Not only is this my favorite dish, but it’s also about the experience of making it, where I make it, and the company I am enjoying it with.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I’d build my dream outdoor kitchen—a place to bring people together. I’d cook for friends, teach others how to make amazing food, and share the joy of outdoor cooking. A wood-fired pizza oven, grill, and plenty of space to prep and gather would make it the perfect spot. More than just a kitchen, it would be a place for laughter, good food, and unforgettable memories.
