Cooking is my passion, and I draw inspiration from my mother, my cultural heritage, and the joy of bringing people together through food. Seeing the happiness a well-prepared meal brings to others motivates me. I also admire chefs who innovate while respecting tradition, pushing me to keep learning and refining my craft.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?One of my favorite dishes to make is pulled beef with vegetable gravy and mashed sweet potatoes with a rich, velvety red wine reduction. It’s a slow cooked dish that requires patience, technique, and attention to detail. The deep flavors and fall off the bone tenderness make it incredibly rewarding. Plus, it’s the perfect way to create a memorable dining experience for others.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to invest in my culinary journey whether it’s upgrading equipment, attending specialized courses, or launching a pop-up that showcases my unique style of cooking. My goal is to create unforgettable food experiences and, ultimately, establish my own restaurant that reflects my vision and passion.
