What inspired me to cook is a two part answer for the question. First, my dad was a pretty good cook and he made a few great dishes that people loved all the time. Even though he passed away, people continue to talk about the food he made and how good it was. So secondly, I'm inspired to cook and make people feel good the way my father did to leave a lasting impression with food. My dad initially inspired me and now I'm moved to create food that people will remember for a long time.

My all time favorite dish is a tough question because there are so many things I love to make. To start, my top 3 things are tacos, a good slider and my father's gumbo. All have great flavors and good dishes but my top thing would probably be any of my fusion tacos. I mix and match cultures, spices and flavors to make the most awesome and different tacos.

What I would do with 25k is help to grow my bbq sauce and seasoning line. I started the brand honor my father after he passed away to carry on a great family recipe. I made it better and created 5 wonderful and tasty flavors. It would help grow the brand and give more people an opportunity to experience my family legacy of wonderful flavors and joy through food. It is my goal to not only use marketing to become the best bbq sauce on the market but also be able to expand the brand to a food line.
