Receive Text UpdatesMy passion for cooking started with my Mom. She was great in the kitchen. When I went to college, cafeteria and fast food was just not doing it for me. I started cooking Moms recipes and ventured out with cookbooks, cooking shows and classes at CIA. I would invite friends over and they loved it, especially the girls, so that helped :)
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I would have to say among many delicious pasta dishes, my favorite is Seafood Paella.
What would you do with the $25,000?I mentioned in another comment that I had a liver transplant April 2024 and I was on a very limited and strict diet. My passion for cooking has returned and I have been working on a business plan to open a small restaurant. $25k and the inspiration this contest has given me would be a great kick start. This year as I'm recovering, I am starting a new chapter in my life with my new donated liver, and I want to do something that brings me joy instead of going back to a corporate job.
