My mother and my Uncle Dewayne have inspired me. My uncle went to culinary school and did a lot of private party catering. That's something I've always wanted to do. Every time he would come visit, he and my mother would make a big meal that everyone enjoyed. I've always wanted to be the person in the kitchen and on the grill making a meal the whole family will love. My mother and uncle dreamed of opening a restaurant. Now, it's up to me to fulfill that dream!
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Fish tacos are definitely my personal all-time favorite meal. But,, My mother and Uncle would always make a meal they learned while in Japan, Gyoza dumplings with chicken and shrimp fried rice. Yum! In the past year I've changed my diet and started eating more whole foods. Organic vegetables and fruit. I'm now striving to learn more dishes that incorporate organic plant-based cooking. I love making veggie pasta noodles with broccoli and cashew alfredo sauce. Boom!
