Mainly my family. We grew up always having family get-togethers. I always remember how much the food brought everyone closer. I also just love all the avenues and possibilities in the kitchen. There’s always something new to figure out, and the kitchen is one of the only places where messing up can turn into a beautiful mess. My life is food and if I can make people happy with my creations, that’s all I need in life.

What would you do with the $25,000?Start my food truck. Brunch themed leaning towards Asian/latin inspired. Put it in the heart of San Antonio, TX, so I can serve my people and give back to my city, the right way. I would also do something nice for mom. She’s never left my side and is my biggest fan/critic to all of my hardwork.
