Receive Text UpdatesMy father and my brother. My dad taught us how to cook from an early age. The first "gourmet" meal my dad taught me to make when I was 7 was Coq au Vin. Then, at 10, I moved up to Coquilles Saint-Jacques and haven't looked back. I always use at least one kitchen tool from my dad in every episode of Metal Mastication. Cooking is a way for us to reconnect and spend time together again. I still use the clam shells my dad bought back in the 70s for the Coquilles Saint-Jacques meal!
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Brazilian Lasagna is one of my wife's favorites. James Beard's Meatloaf, from the James Beard Cookbook, that was a wedding present my dad received from his parents in 1963. I also love making Thai food, especially Masaman.
What would you do with the $25,000?Put it into our show, Metal Mastication. We could make a road trip to AZ and NV and buy some much-needed equipment. We are the only heavy metal interview show from the kitchen! π€π»π¨π»π³πΈπ½οΈ
