Receive Text UpdatesFood inspires me because there is endless possibilities when it comes to flavor profiles, textures, and presentation. Cooking is an art, and science all at the same time. I also am a natural people pleaser, so watching someone take pictures, and eat my food with a smile on their face, is one of the most rewarding feelings to me. People and family gather around food, so I feel it's a lot more powerful than given credit for.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I would say my favorite dish to make would be a classic French bouillabaisse. It's light, flavorful, and vibrant. You can really get creative with unique ingredients, color profiles, textures, and presentation. I am an East coast boy to the bone, with a Caribbean heritage, so Seafood is very comforting to me.
What would you do with the $25,000?As a professional chef, most people would expect me to open a restaurant with the $25,000 cash prize. However I am oddly passionate about making ice cream. I have an idea for a very unique ice cream parlor concept that is one of a kind. I would love the opportunity to share this fun and unique concept with the world!
