Who or what inspires you to cook?

Coming from a middle-class family, I started cooking at age 9 to feed my 2 sisters, as my mom was alcoholic & neglectful. Cooking became my passion & career. I worked my way up from small restaurants in Nepal to Executive Chef at Radisson Blu in India & now pursuing my dreams in the USA.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I love reimagining traditional dishes with an artistic twist—infusing new flavors, textures, and garnishes into time-honored recipes. Each plate becomes a canvas where my heritage meets creative innovation, transforming simple meals into soulful, unforgettable experiences.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, my first dream is to reunite my family from Nepal by bringing them to the USA. Following that, I’d invest in opening a restaurant where traditional flavors meet innovative artistry. Each dish would be a heartfelt tribute to my journey—transforming simple ingredients into soul-stirring experiences—and it would be my honor to serve delicious food that brings people together.
