Receive Text UpdatesI have been empowered by many. I am a self-taught cook who always aspired to recreate what I loved eating. I admired my SIL "Gayle" who together we explored many dishes. But ultimately watching Chefs and contestants on TV shows motivate me to continually seek knowledge.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?What a difficult question to answer because there are so many.Having parents from Puerto Rico, my mother would often cook traditional Island dishes, such as Arroz con Pollo accompanied by tostones (fried green plantains), which has become a favorite of mine to cook. Paella is another dish I enjoy cooking. Ending a meal with dessert is a must, and cheese pie and coconut flan are two of my favs.
What would you do with the $25,000?What incredible possibilities would unfold with $25,000? I would seize the chance to attend culinary school in the USA or Europe, a lifelong aspiration. What an empowering honor it would be to learn from and follow in the footsteps of a visionary Chef, if only for a moment.
