I live in one of the most multicultural cities in the world. I am inspired by all the different cultures and flavours that make up my home. I am inspired by my family and the food traditions we celebrate that have been passed on from generations before. I am also always inspired to learn and collaborate with other great chefs.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My all time favourite dish to make is Hand made fresh pasta. I have always been fascinated at how a few simple ingredients could transform into something so special. This was something traditional I learned how to make as a young child and later refined my skills working in industry. I now teach my students how to make fresh hand made pasta and inspire them to find their passion for cooking.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000 I would host cooking classes for at risk youth in my community, hoping to inspire them to love food as much as I do. I would also love to travel in Anthony Bourdain’s footsteps while creating engaging and educational food content that I can share with the world.
