My name is Alex, I’d say that my cooking is inspired by memories of cooking with my Oma, mother and father growing up. Each person that inspired my cooking had a different skill set to bring to the table. My Oma being German brought very traditional cooking, my father the grill master which inspired my love for cooking meats. And my mom being the main cook in the house having to make a variety of things that my dad, brothers and myself enjoyed.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My favorite all time dish to make would either be smoking a Brisket. There’s something about the attention to detail and time that goes into that makes it so special. The technicality when it comes to properly smoking meats from trimming and seasoning to fire management and waiting for it to be perfect is almost unbeatable. But to say one favorite is tough. I also love making braised short rib ragu with cavatelli pasta, it’s my go to comfort dish that takes times but every bite prove
What would you do with the $25,000?With the 25,000 I’d use a portion to pay my car off. Which would then allow me to use to money to continue growing my private chef business.
