Receive Text UpdatesMy grandmother (Nanny), was probably my biggest inspiration. She has always been the a cook. Never had any formal training just in kitchen experience & hand-me-down recipes. I never thought the kitchen would be my calling though. I wanted to be one of those CSI ppl but a visit to the body farm, some excellent baking and decorating skills caused for a career change. Which peaked my interest in pastries. And so I started following my Nanny around like a puppy, learning from a master.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Anything sweet. I've taken some of my favorite recipes & made them my own or put spins on classics. I have even adapted a few things to make them gluten free and/or sugar free for my friends & family with allergies & diabetes including my daughter & mother.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would open a bakery and/or food truck and put a nice deposit on a place for me and my daughter so we can have our own space. This would also put us one step closer to adopting her a sibling. Something we both have always wanted to do just never had the means or the space.
