Receive Text UpdatesEarly on I was inspired by the few celebrity chefs on TV (Emeril, Rachel Ray, Iron Chef) who made it look fun and rewarding to play with food, and it was! That led me to cooking for my family and friends which was even more rewarding to share something that took time and care in creating, with my hands, to feed people, bring them together and make them smile. I am continually driven my by two little boys and husband who I want to provide not only delicious food but wholesome ingredients!
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Paella! After making paella once, I knew I’d be making it many, many more times. It is everything I enjoy about cooking and eating. It is a social dish that has a WOW factor when placing it down in front of guests, and I love to be able to dig in around a full table! It can be simple and modest with chicken, vegetables and few pieces of seafood, or elaborate, packed with seafood, rabbit and saffron aioli. The process is straightforward but takes a watchful eye and is ever so satisfying
What would you do with the $25,000?It would be an incredible opportunity for me to take my dad on a culinary trip around Mexico! Since I can remember, he has filled my head with stories of his travels there and I would love be able to take him back and experience it in a new way, with me and food! I would also like to invest in a small van to expand opportunities for my business. This would give me more freedom to take on larger jobs with my team and be able to organize my equipment in a more accessible way.
