Who or what inspires you to cook?

Growing up in a Jewish family I was always amazed at the food my mother, aunt and grandmother would make for the holidays. I always helped in the preparation learning what it takes to cook the perfect holiday meal. My family owned a luncheonette in Brooklyn, and I would enjoy making burger, sandwiches, fries, etc. I love the smell of fresh baked goods and I'm always asked to make some dessert. My inspiration is to make people happy with my cooking.I watch as many cooking/baking shows as possible

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I have a few. Homemade Lasagna with a Bolognese sauce. Roasted Vegetable Pasta. Swordfish Milanese. Banana Bread, Flourless Chocolate Cake, Butterscotch Berry Tart, Lemon Blueberry Bread w/Lemon Glaze.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars is a lot of money, but fortunately I'm not in the need for the money personally. If given the opportunity to win, I would donate the complete prize money to Charity. What is the point of having if you don't share with those that really need it. I'm involved with Childrens Hospitals.
