Who or what inspires you to cook?

I find my inspiration through the connections I’ve had with people from cultures all over the world. I absolutely love how vast food culture is and I want to continue to immerse myself in that experience as long as I can.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

My favorite dish to make is the first dish I ever created as a chef at a restaurant and I continue to be as proud of it today as I was when I created the dish. It is a cavatappi pasta with roasted red pepper couli, pheasant sausage, mushroom duxelles, basil, and Parmesan cheese.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the 25,000$ to pay off the debt I’ve accrued by following my dreams. I am so proud of how far I’ve come. My past wasn’t always full of light, but I am successful today because of the battles I’ve faced and this will help push me even further.
