Gordon Ramsey has been my inspiration since episode one of Hell’s Kitchen. My big inspiration is my mother who fought and lost the battle to breast cancer when I was 16. She passed 21 years ago and wanted me to follow my dreams. I was in and out of hospitals with her. I lived in Swedish medical center (hospital) in her room sleeping in the window sil for almost nine months as a teenager.over three and a half years of her battle before passing. This win is for her, my wife and kids.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My all time favorite dish to make is Beef Wellington root veggies and pomme purée with a side of home made Demi Glacé. My second would probably be my fresh made pappardelle pasta white truffle beurre blanc. Topped with crispy pancetta pieces and lobster tail. Really, I’m a fat kid that loves all things food. lol
What would you do with the $25,000?$25,000 is a lot of money and enough for me to start out my venture in the ever growing, competitive food truck industry. I will also continue to support my local homeless community and help end hunger and continue to help where I can. Every winter I go around searching for homeless and handing out hand warmers, toiletries and basic hygiene products to help them feel more human and show them they are not alone in this world and that people do care for them. (When I win ill be able to do more)
