Who or what inspires you to cook?

Definitely my mom and my grandma were my inspiration. Despite I couldn’t cook with them as a grown person, I have the most beautiful memories around them always in the kitchen. Today my motivation is the community I cook for. I believe that feeding people is the most genuine act of love

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I have some favorites, but Braised Short Rib is top on the list, because it takes time and lot of details specially on the final part with sauce. You build and develop flavor during the process, it can’t be rushed to get a great result, so I love to make it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’ll invest it in my food business to expand the actual operation, and give a boost to the brand to impact more people. Also it could help me to continue the social labor in the community, giving back to them
