My grandmother “granny” and my dad have been my biggest cooking influences. “Granny” bakes night and day and my dad owned a restaurant and managed a resort. My love for food is something I was born into and grew to love.

Ohhhh, that's such an open question! I don't think I can name just one. What I cook is inspired by who I'm entertaining at the time. It's my biggest quest to make someone's favorite meal, with a Chanel twist and then have them choose my dish and betray their original. Personally, my comfort dish would be my islands’ national dish Fungi (foon-gee) & Fish in mayonnaise sauce; it's absolutely delightful! 😊

The agricultural produce on my island is not as bountiful as it used to be and so I would use that money to develop the areas that are struggling and once enjoyed large harvests. With the enhancement of the rural agricultural products, I would assist families in making healthier meals for the elderly and for the benefit of the homeless. I also have ideas of partnering with a youth program called YEP (Youth Empowerment Program) to implement healthy cooking classes for the boys and girls.
