It’s So Many Whos’ and even a what inspired me. My parents are from the same town in Sicily so I could go right to the root of my cooking there , I was under my Nonnas Wing every second I could be and because I lived my life in a tug of war between New York and Sicily , my family , my travels, my own personal health and interest in what I’m eating. My cooking is the direct result of a mix of these inspirations.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My favorite dish to make is just rosemary fried battonets of potato slow fried w/ rosemary garlic salt in mix avocado and olive oil . Was the dish my nonna made me all the time and then with gitelmans syndrome I always crave salt and potassium rich foods so it was something I continued to always love and then the last thing I made For my grandma . She ate every last one and nothing made me happier than to be able to return that recipe to her .
What would you do with the $25,000?Would like to open a small bakery but more so take care of some health stuff for someone I care about .
