Who or what inspires you to cook?

I started experimenting with food and creating dishes when I was 10 years old. My aunt had a restaurant and came up to me one day and said, "being a chef is not for everyone, it comes from your soul, and the passion that burns inside you" and she said she saw something in me that she had never seen before in all of her years in the kitchen working with cooks and chefs. Passion is something that you can't teach someone. Food to me is my love, my life, my family, and my gift to everyone

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

Croque En Bouche of course! My all time favorite dish to make has to be proper lasagna. I start by making the ricotta cheese fresh, the fresh pasta sheets, a beautiful tomato sauce, grinding my own veal and beef chuck, making fresh mozzarella and letting my passion do the rest.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My kids and I were supposed to go to Italy for a family reunion before Covid, so I would love to take them there and learn from the Jedi lady Italians about everything food, especially pasta! and show my kids the Italian history and culture. Now I'm sure that most contestan would use the money to open a restaurant, but times have changed and the internet has opened a world of opportunity. I would use the money to start my own lineup of unique Gourmet fresh psta that I would package sell online.
