I have a few…Flambé Wings which is like chicken and waffles without the waffles, 24kt gold wings(honey bourbon sauce with edible gold dust, moonlight wings (vanilla lemon cream sauce drizzle w/ iridescent edible dust) and my pineapple stuffing. I love to experiment so I have more in my mind that just needs to come out!
Who is your culinary inspiration?My long line of women in my family on both my mother’s and father’s side. I get the Jamaican knowledge from my mother and the Southern knowledge from my father! I just put them together! But my Aunt who passed away in Jamaica after our family reunion…is the one who inspired me! When I started cooking she was my cheerleader!! Said she wanted to show me more Jamaican dishes when she returned from Jamaica and she never did. I have her pic in my kitchen and channel her as I create
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use this money to invest in my God Given talent and open a restaurant! Food brings people together on many different levels and cultures! I love creating that experience!! I also have a heart for the homeless and have prepared home cooked meals and distribute personally. It just warms my heart to share my cooking and give a sense on nostalgia to an individual’s tastebuds/heart! My food is cooked with love to feed your soul!!
