What is your signature dish?

Eggs Benedict, a staple since I was a little girl. A classic that has hit every part of my 33 years in the culinary world. From a little girl, the teenage years, restaurant training, culinary school in San Francisco, more restaurant training, culinary instructor for special needs children, food truck owner & operator, to sharing with family, friends, students, & loyal customers this is my staple. The memories & flavors invoked by such simple ingredients has always amazed & warmed

Who is your culinary inspiration?

It's not just one person in particular, early memories of family and now my children & husband, food has always been celebrated and loved for as long as I can remember. My grandfather; had an amazing garden with a variety of fruits & vegetables. Two of my favorites were, warm sun-kissed strawberries & getting lost in the mini corn field. My Grandmother; her deviled eggs, chicken salad, iced tea steeping in the sun, and polished silverware.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Celebrate by throwing an amazing party with family & friends! Then, invest with my business partner/owner of the opening of 54 South Restaurant & Lounge coming late 2026. This would add to dreams of celebrating food, history, culture, and giving back to the community through local outsourcing.
