Receive Text UpdatesMy mother with her garlic stuffed pork loin roast with Pick-A-Peppa sauce is a mouthwatering delight, to my father with his home grown tomatoes and okra, always frying them up with a cornmeal coating, the kitchen and house always had the pleasant and comforting aroma of home cooking! Later on it was Julia Child, me a teenager I watched her show, she demonstrated cooking eggs, specifically French omelets. Immediately in the kitchen I broke a dozen eggs before I perfected the flip technique.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya is an all time favorite to make and the family and friends love it when I prepare this one-pot dish. Sometimes I'll add shrimp to the dish, which takes it to another level. The perfect comfort food that feeds a large crowd, they keep coming back for more, and I love making it every time anyone askes me to prepare it for them. Seafood Gumbo is another favorite, with blue crabs, shrimp, oysters and crab claws, its another crowd pleaser. Another one-pot wonder!
What would you do with the $25,000?Our kitchen is in need of a renovation, and the prize would make a good dent in getting the redesign and update for the focal point of the house. For some reason we seem to always have a tight kitchen space, we would love to expand the kitchen area of our house.
