Who or what inspires you to cook?

Family and friends are my main inspiration for cooking. The memories of gathering around the kitchen, grill, or fire, sharing stories while enjoying a traditional meal, drive me to create culinary experiences that bring people together and create lasting memories.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

My all-time favorite dish to make is Cochinita Pibil. It's ancient, simple, and versatile. The flavors are rich, the spices add a strong, mouthwatering aroma, and it's easily garnished with a variety of toppings, making it a delight to prepare and enjoy.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I'd invest in a small commercial kitchen offering free cooking classes. It would be a resource for veterans, domestic abuse survivors, and others interested in cooking as a career or hobby, empowering them with valuable skills and opportunities.
