From crispy fried fish and chicken to homemade sides, every meal I prepare tells a story. After losing my son, cooking became more than a passion—it became a way to keep his memory alive. Food brings people together, and I pour my heart into every plate I serve.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My greatest culinary inspiration is my late son. His memory motivates me every day to keep pushing forward and building something meaningful. Cooking became my healing place after loss, and every meal I create is made with love, resilience, and purpose. My family has also inspired me through generations of home-cooked meals that taught me food is about bringing people together and creating lasting memories.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would help me grow our family business and continue the legacy inspired by my son. I would invest in equipment, expand our catering services, and create opportunities to serve more people in our community. Most importantly, it would allow me to honor my son’s memory by building something lasting that brings joy, comfort, and togetherness to others through food.
