My signature dish is Moqueca, a traditional Brazilian fish stew layered with fresh seafood, coconut milk, peppers, herbs, and vibrant flavors. It represents my Brazilian roots, my journey as a chef around the world, and my belief that food should tell a story, bring comfort, and create connection around the table.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My greatest culinary inspiration is my Portuguese grandmother, Anna. She taught me that food is more than technique. It's love, family, tradition, and creating meaningful memories through flavor.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win $25,000, I would use it to expand my cooking classes and begin my next cookbook, Just Desserts, sharing the desserts, stories, and memories that shaped me as a chef.
