Who is your culinary inspiration?

Definitely my family. When we arrived in this wonderful country, we had nothing but a small bag and our dreams. Nowadays, my wife sells flowers, and my daughters strive day in and day out—learning another language and giving their all at school. They fight alongside me every day to show the world that it *can* be done.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the prize money, I would like to set up a food cart—offering healthy, happy food. I believe that food has the power to heal and bring happiness to people; that is why I want to sell fresh, nutritious meals, and in doing so, express my gratitude to the people of this country that welcomed us.
