My signature dish is my smoked oxtails served over honey Cajun rice with rich gravy and bold Gulf Coast flavors. It’s the dish that represents who I am as a chef—comfort food elevated with creativity, patience, and passion. People know me for taking Southern classics and giving them a unique twist while keeping the flavors authentic. Every plate tells a story of family, culture, and hard work.

Who is your culinary inspiration?

My biggest inspiration is God, because He gave me the gift and vision to create through food. I’m also inspired by the strong cooks in my family who taught me that food is more than a meal—it’s a way to bring people together. Their love, sacrifice, and creativity helped shape my passion for hospitality. Every event I cater is an opportunity to serve people and create unforgettable memories through food.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning $25,000 would be a game changer for my business, Magnitude Catering. I would invest in commercial equipment, branding, marketing, and a food trailer to expand my reach throughout Houston, Mobile, and the Gulf Coast. It would also help me launch culinary classes, create jobs, and continue building a business that serves the community.
