Receive Text UpdatesMy signature dish is the Highway 23, inspired by my roots in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. It’s a dish that represents the culture and flavors I grew up around! Crispy deep-fried catfish served over savory dirty rice and finished with a rich Creole crawfish cream sauce. Every element of the dish tells the story of where I come from and the authentic Louisiana flavor I bring to the table.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My culinary inspiration comes from my upbringing in Louisiana, where food represented family, culture, and community. Growing up in Plaquemines Parish, I was surrounded by fresh seafood, bold flavors, and authentic Creole traditions that shaped my passion for cooking. I was especially inspired by my grandmother’s cooking and the way food brought people together. She taught me that every dish should have soul, flavor, and purpose. Today, I use my cuisine to represent my hometown roots.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest it into expanding my culinary brand and continuing to bring authentic Louisiana culture and cuisine to new communities. As a restaurant owner, I understand the challenges that come with building something from the ground up, and this opportunity would help strengthen my business, support my team, and create even more opportunities within my community.I would also use the platform to inspire other entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams, no matter where they come from.
