At first, I started cooking to improve my health and lose weight. That was over 15 years ago! My kids were my inspiration back then. I blogged my attempts to teach them good habits and expose them to various foods. Today, my love for cooking has evolved into hosting small dinner parties and creating unique menus. I constantly challenge myself to be creative and step out of my comfort zone. Cooking, with its endless possibilities for expression and creativity, inspires me.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?What a tricky question! I am always trying new things. That's where I get my inspiration from. If you are forcing me to pick, one of my favorite things to make is Risotto with Seared Scallops. It's one of my husband's favorites. For a fun date night in, we pop open a bottle of wine and make it together. That said, we have never made it the same way twice!
What would you do with the $25,000?I recently started bartending at a restaurant part-time to learn more about the food industry. I want to invest it in a small property to open a little cocktail bar serving seasonally inspired small plates and tapas.
