How long have you been cooking?

Since I was 5 years old!!! I learned so much from being in the kitchen with my mother and grandmothers. I am so blessed to have been taught by them. But really I have been creating amazing food for the last 20+ years. I have a big hungry family and my love language is feeding people I love. I am passionate about creating healthy yummy food for my whole family to enjoy. I can't remember a time when I wasn't cooking or feeding people.

What is your signature dish?

Chicken Marsala. It's hands down my signature dish. I created this dish, making it just a bit healthier than most recipes..... using tender chicken cutlets, gluten free flour, baby Portobello mushrooms, and a rich Marsala wine sauce. I serve it with mashed cauliflower and of course fresh herbs as garnish. It's comfort food, and a special dish for any occasion. It's also my dad's favorite dinner recipe I make. Creating a special dinner from pantry staples is also a signature ability I have.

What will you do with the $50,000?

I know exactly what I would use the money for. Creating and filming my very own cooking show! Since I was a young girl, I have dreamed of having my own cooking show. This would be incredible. I have a outline, recipe ideas, an over-the-top guest list, story arch written, basically everything is ready. This would be a dream come true. I can't even contain my excitement for the possibility of this happening in real life. Of course, I'd probably buy a new pair of boots too.
