How long have you been cooking?

I have been cooking for 10 plus years! It all started watching my family throw down in Southern Texas as a young child to becoming the team chef hosting for football meals to stepping up my game and being able to have the opportunity to work with top chefs in French and Italian Cuisine. After starting from the bottom, I was able to work my way up to Executive Chef.

What is your signature dish?

My all time favorite food to eat is "Beef Stew." When I was a child, my mother would make beef stew all the time, and I loved it. When I got older and found my passion in the kitchen after my football career, I spiced her recipe up, and still love it to this day. As a chef, and knowing French Cuisine, I fell in love with Beef Bourguignon. Beef Bourguignon is braised in red wine and beef stock, flavored with carrots, onion, garlic, and natural herbs.

What will you do with the $50,000?

I would put it towards my food truck that my amazing wife and family are trying to start. We are Fork It Franklin!
