My dream is to start my own food line focusing on family meals. There is NO better feeling than already knowing what is for dinner.
It seems like I have been cooking my whole life but professionally I have been in the industry for 10 years. I am sole proprietor of a cafe and catering company. I have been the executive chef at 2 private clubs over the past 8 years. I left those positions 18 months ago to focus on my own business and restaurant.
I have several items that I have become known for from a variety of genres. However, in my community I am known for my fried chicken, homemade pies and carrot cake. My absolute favorite item to cook is seared fresh scallops and making amazing soups.
My dream is to develop a prepared food line for the client to take and bake. The $20,000 would go towards start up, package development and product testing. It would be a dream to manufacture in our small community to provide jobs and encourage further growth. I would love Gina’s line help busy families serve great meals that are nutritious and affordable.
