I have been cooking since January 2017. I got my first job EVER as a cook at an emergency homeless shelter. I had no experience and there was no menu, so I had to create meals from donated items.
Grilled Tofu Tacos ~ To make these mouthwatering tacos,I take tofu that has been marinated,seasoned and then pan grilled to a golden brown perfection. I then take a very thin slice of jicama to resemble a tortilla and fill it with tofu,sliced cherry tomatoes,sprouts and a mango salsa
I would use the winnings to open up a bakery/cafe which would employ and train individuals from the community who come from vulnerable backgrounds and need a help in fulfilling their goals and dreams
