Winning would help fund expansion of my home-based business which was affected by COVID.
I have been cooking since early childhood, so over 50 years! It all started when my father taught me to scramble eggs, and I had an early 1960s Betty Crocker Kid's Cookbook which I loved.
It is difficult to choose just one, but probably dino beef rib egg rolls or smoked chicken, either whole, spatchcocked hen or parts with my own line of seasonings.
The money, if awarded, would be put into my business (Smokin' Hot Chix, LLC) for expansion. I would also donate a portion to the North Texas Food Bank and the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing.
