How long have you been cooking?

When I was 4 I started cooking right beside my mom in the kitchen as well as beside the campfire and learned from my dad hunting-fishing-foraging. I’ve always had a passion for cuisine and fresh ingredients! I have been professionally creating culinary delights and palate pleasing bites for over 15 years! I love what I do and am so thankful to tap into my god-given creativity!

What is your signature dish?

Being from the West Coast with classical French training, my signature dish is Cioppino (bouillabaisse inspiration) with a slice of my toasted sourdough. I have perfected it over the years and not only do I love to create it and serve it, but I also love to devour it!!! Mediterranean style cuisine using fresh fish is one of my favorite styles—utilizing local/seasonal ingredients and food made from scratch are both important to me to feed my clients and my family.

What will you do with the $50,000?

The true meaning of farm to table comes alive with education and cooking skills. My passion is to ignite a love in kids for healthy food and healthy eating by starting a non profit dedicated to empowering kids of all ages with education and basic cooking skills including the importance of gardening and how to utilize your bounty!
