How long have you been cooking?

I have been cooking since I was about 8 years old. I really developed the passion for food as I was growing up in Northern Italy. The mamas and the grandmas of the local village I was living in began to teach me all of the amazing dishes and Italian cooking techniques. I retired from a 26 year Technical Theatre career and started my own catering company in 2012. I won peoples choice for the title of Best Local Chef for 2019 and 2020 and Best Catering Co. for 2020 in Coastal VA Magazine.

What is your signature dish?

One of my most famous signature dishes is my “Fire in the Bowl! Which is a spicy dish that I sell at Yorktown Market Days in Historic Yorktown Virginia where I actually started selling my food professionally many years ago. Another signature dish is my Prosciutto wrapped Sea Scallops with my Tomato Caper Sauce served on a bed of fresh arugula.

What will you do with the $50,000?

I have been featured on many of my states local CBS morning shows but I am trying to develop and produce my own cooking show as many of my statewide fan base have said they would love to watch me regularly. I also will be featuring several different charities on the show that I have been sponsoring for the past 10 years.
